EARL T. BECKWITH

Earl T. Beckwith, 60, of Millington passed away on March 27, 2021. Devoted husband to Elizabeth since 1988 and a loving father to Lindsey and Charlotte. Earl is preceded in death by his daughter Charlotte and his father Robert Olin Beckwith. Earl is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Lindsey; mother, Akiko Beckwith; sister, Amie Hammerschmidt (Konrad); brothers, David (Rita), Charles (Deborah), Frank (Nancy), and Kenneth (Laurie); and nieces and nephews, David, Andrew, Micah, Max, Miles, Robert, Lindsey, Luke, Danika, Kyle and Nicole. Earl was a hard worker who always gave 100% of himself. He passed away unexpectedly, losing his battle with heart disease and a newly found cancer. We know that God called him home, but he left his mark in the world as a corporal in the U.S. Army, an outstanding professional land surveyor in multiple states, and as a reserve patrol officer for the Millington Police Dept. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR and football. The family received guests April 2 until the memorial service at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel. Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel had charge. 

GEORGIA ‘DEE’ DELORES BOOTHE

Georgia “Dee” Delores Boothe, 67, of Munford, went to be with the Lord on March 26, 2021. The family received friends March 29 at Munford Funeral Home – Munford Chapel. A funeral service was  held March 30 also at Munford Funeral Home – Munford Chapel. Interment was in Helen Crigger Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.

VERNON LEE CAVITT SR.

Vernon Lee Cavitt, Sr., 65, of Memphis, passed away March 29, 2021 at his residence. There was a walk-through viewing for Mr. Cavitt on April 3 with a memorial service at Historical First Baptist Church, in Millington. Interment followed at Pleasant Rest Memorial Gardens in Millington. Jefferson Mortuary, Inc. had charge.

TYLER DAVIS ETHERIDGE

Tyler Davis Etheridge, 27, of Atoka, passed away March 21, 2021 at his home. A visitation was held until the service March 26 all at Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel. Interment followed in Helen Crigger Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to: Memorial of Tyler Etheridge at Bank Tennessee. Munford Funeral Home had charge. 

ARTHUR LEO LAURENT

Arthur Leo Laurent, 73, of Millington,  passed away March 26, 2021. Mr. Laurent was retired U.S. Navy, a retired aviation mechanic at FedEx, an avid sports fan, a lifetime member of the VFW and loved to travel and had a very generous heart. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen Marie Laurent; parents, Victor Leo and Mary Elizabeth Laurent; and sister, Dorothy Perkins. He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Chandler of Millington, and Aimee Cothran of Blair, Neb.; sons, Joseph Laurent of Millington , Tony Laurent of Cedar Rapids, IO and Chris Laurent of Canon City, CO; sisters, Rose Broce of Kim, CO and Shirley Todisco of Pueblo, Colo.; brother, Mike Laurent of Rocky Ford, Colo.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family received friends April 2 at the Millington Chapel  until the memorial service. Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel had charge. 

MARCIA EVELYN RODGERS

Marcia Evelyn Rodgers, 60, of Memphis, went to be with the Lord March 22, 2021. Visitation was held March 26. Funeral service was held March 27 at Munford Funeral Home. Munford Funeral Home had charge.
