Bradley Carl Shields, 35, of Millington, left his earthly body on July 28, 2021. A Celebration of Life will take place at Munford Funeral Home-Millington Chapel on Aug. 2. Visitation took place, with a short service. His ashes will be interred in Picayune, Miss., next to his beloved grandfather. Munford Funeral Home had charge.

John C. Sparks, 73, passed away on August 2, 2021. He was retired from the U.S. Navy; retired from FedEx; and a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6321 and served as the financial secretary for over 30 years; a Master Gardner; and a devoted member at St. William Catholic Church as a youth leader and softball coach. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Sparks; daughter, Kim Sparks of Covington; son, Kevin Sparks of Jacksonville, Ark.; sisters, Beth Bramble of Midvale, Idaho and Carol Smith of Tulsa, Okla.; brother, Mike Sparks; seven grandchildren. A graveside service wiil be held Aug. 13 at 1 p.m. at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. The family asks memorials be made to the Knights of Columbus Council 6321 or to the Master Gardeners of Memphis. Munford Funeral Home MIllington Chapel had charge.
