Teresa Ann Dunn, 62, of Munford, passed away on August 18, 2020 at Baptist Hospital in Memphis. A visitation was held at Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chape until the memorial service Aug. 20. The family requests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel had charge.
RUTH WINTER HOWELL
Ruth Winter Howell, 96, of Millington, passed away August 19, 2020. Graveside services were held Aug. 23 at Helen Crigger Cemetery in Munford.
ROBERT GENE HUBER
Robert Gene Huber, born September 8, 1933 in Deweese, Nebraska, died on August 20, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. He resided in Millington. He was the only child of Walter and Rose Huber. His father, Walter, was stationed in Millington through the Navy. Robert joined the Marine Corps after graduating from Millington Central High School where he played football, baseball, and saxophone. After his military service, he worked for Chromasco Mining and Smelting Corporation. At the age of 40, he joined the Marine Reserves full time until he retired at the age of 60. He enjoyed staying active his whole life, and in his last years he was often working on his farm and working out at the Millington Naval Base. Robert was a lover of his history and his family heritage throughout Nebraska, Germany, and the Czech Republic. He was an avid collector of memories of his family and greatly enjoyed taking care of keepsakes from his grandparents, parents, sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a member of Lucy Baptist Church. Robert is survived by his sons Robert Huber Sr. (Robin), Steve Huber, Jimmy Cates (Tink), six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation was held at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Aug. 25, with graveside services following. In lieu of flowers, make all donations in Robert G. Huber’s memory to Millington Crisis Center at 8133 Wilkinsville Road, Millington, TN 38053. Masks and social distancing will be required.
BARBARA DIANNE SMITH
Barbara Dianne Smith, 71, of Millington, passed away August 17, 2020. The family received friends Aug. 24 until the service at the Millington Chapel. Entombment followed in the mausoleum at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
JAMES MICHAEL TAYLOR
James Michael Taylor, 69, of Munford, passed away August 22, 2020. Mr. Taylor was loving husband, father and grandfather who retired from the USAF; was a courier for AEL and loved watching television shows. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Taylor; sons, Todd (Alaina Phillips) Alexander, Ricky Alexander and Kevin (Blair) Bomar; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
