Casilda Gonzales, 89, passed away December 6, 2021. The Rosary was Dec. 9 at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel with visitation. The Funeral Mass was held Dec. 10 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Memphis, TN, with interment in the Memphis National Cemetery on Jackson Avenue. Eileen R. Hopper, 92, of Millington, passed away on December 3, 2021. She lived life to the fullest, was a friend to all, never met a stranger. A Memorial of Life service was held at New Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church for the family and close friends. ROBERT HURDLE
Robert Hurdle, 89, passed away November 30, 2021. Mr. Hurdle retired from the U.S. Navy as an aviation machinist, retired from the Civil Service as an aviation mechanic, was a member of the Millington Training Active Reserve, and enjoyed playing golf. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Johnnie Hurdle and daughter, Jackie Hurdle. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Hurdle; sister, Loraine of Columbus, GA; granddaughter, Talitha Pollard (Gary); three great-grandchildren, Garret Reeves, Riyan Pollard and Addisyn Pollard. The family received friends Dec. 2 at First United Methodist Church in Millington until the service. Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel had charge.

There was a walk-through viewing for Ms. Smith on Dec. 11 with a memorial service at Springhill Baptist Church, in Memphis. Interment followed at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery, in Millington.
