Don Calloway, Sr., 89 of Millington, passed away December 9, 2020. He retired as a fireman in Tempe, Ariz., and served in the USMC in the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar M. and Verna Calloway; sister, Krystal Cowart; brothers, Marion Calloway and Marshal Calloway. He is survived by his wife, Betsy Ann Calloway; daughter, Kathy Harvey; son, Don A. Calloway, Jr of Lake Village, Ark.; sister, Sandra Bamburg of Shreveport, La.; brother, Ray Calloway of Haughton, La; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Emra M. “Bud” Oates, 89, of Millington, passed away December 15, 2020. Mr. Oates was a longtime manager of Frank Ryburn Ford dealership in Millington and was a gun permit licensure, and an avid hunter and car guy. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Oates and is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Oates; daughter, Leann Dillard of Milan; sons, Barry Gillespie of Munford, and Mark Gillespie of Ark.; sister, Nell (John) Miller of Millington; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. A graveside service was held Dec. 19 at Bethel Cemetery in Atoka.
