JOAN KLUTTS PARSONS
November 26, 1932 – January 30, 2021
Jackie “Joan” Klutts Parsons, 88 of Memphis, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 30, 2021. Joan was a strong Christian, and longtime member of West Frayser Baptist Church. She was a wife and homemaker, most of her life. She loved to cook for her large family and many church friends. She enjoyed traveling and her favorite memories were spent on the back of her husband James’s, Harley Davidson on cross-country trips. Joan is preceded in death, by her husband of 47 years, James Klutts. She leaves 5 loving children Joyce Olita (Mike), Bonnie Thompson, Rodney Klutts (Ellen), Kathy Gallupe (Craig) and Don Klutts (LeAnn). Joan was the “MawMaw” to nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. Memorial Service was held February 16, 2021 at Lucy Baptist Church in Millington, with graveside service at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
DORIS ANN VESTER
Doris Ann Vester, 55, of Millington, passed away on February 3, 2021 at Methodist Hospital North in Memphis. There was a walk- through viewing for Ms. Vester Feb. 12 at Jefferson Mortuary Inc., in Millington. There was also a viewing on Feb. 13 with a memorial service at Jefferson Mortuary. Interment followed at Pleasant Rest Memorial Cemetery in Millington. Jefferson Mortuary had charge.
