Russell E. Booker, Jr.- USMC ret., 69, retired senior systems analyst for International Paper, passed away January 1, 2022. Mr. Booker was preceded in death by his father, Russell E. Booker; mother, Thea Booker; and a sister. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Booker; daughter, Jessica N. Wagner (David) of Atoka; sons, Russell E. Booker III (Laura) of Jackson, Mo., and Ricky C. Burke of Atoka; sisters, Jean Wolford (Bill), Linda Archie, Lana and Laura; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. The family received friends Jan. 6 at the Millington Chapel with a service on Jan. 7 at the Chapel. Interment was Jan. 8 in Dogwood Cemetery in East Prairie, Mo. Rhonda Carol (Wood) Childress, 54, of Millington, passed away peacefully in her home on December 30, 2021. Joyce Harris of Millington, was called home on December 25, 2021. She was a nurse at Baptist Memorial Hospital for 40 years, and attended Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Millington. She leaves behind three daughters, Pamela Rider (Rick), Dawn Woods (Samuel), and Nancy Young, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was laid to rest at Northridge Woodhaven cemetery on Friday, December 31, 2021.

William K. Hildner, 81, passed away December 30, 2021. Mr. Hildner was a Marine Corp. Veteran of Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his son, Ian Hildner. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Diane Hildner; daughter, Blake Sawyer (Tom); two grandchildren, Tommy Sawyer (Vanessa) and Jackson Sawyer; two great-grandchildren, Scarlett Sawyer and Stella Sawyer. Kenneth Robert Muncy, 85, passed away December 30, 2021. Mr. Muncy was an accounting technician and was retired from the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Frank Muncy. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Muncy; daughters, Deborah Curtis (Jim) of Red Lion, Pa., and Linda Fink (Steve) of Portsmouth, Va.; sons, Kenneth Muncy Jr. (Kellye) of Fairgrove, Mp., Kevin Muncy Chappell (Keith) of Drummonds, Loyd Muncy of Somerville, Lance Pickett-Muncy (Jennifer) of Bellingham, Wash., and Kevin Hollingshead of Millington; sister, Jeanne Leonard of Essex Junction, Vermont; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. Rev. Henry D. Shannon, 83, of Millington, passed away on January 4, 2022 at Saint Francis Hospital Bartlett. There will be a walk-through viewing for Rev. Shannon on Friday, Jan. 14 from 4-6 p.m. at Jefferson Mortuary, Inc., 7788 Church Street, Millington. An additional viewing will take place from 9-9:55 a.m. on Jan. 15 with funeral service to begin at 10 a.m. at Redeeming Life Ministries, 8921 Highway 51, Millington, Tennessee 38053.
