BARRY EDWARD CLEMENTS

Barry Edward Clements, 72, passed away December 23, 2021. Funeral service will be held January 7, 2022 at St. William Catholic Church with the visitation taking place Jan 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home located at 6755 Highway 51 North in Millington. 

JOYCE CHRISTINE HARRIS

Joyce Christine Harris, 83, was called home on December 25, 2021. She was laid to rest on Dec.31 and the funeral and burial following. Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home had charge. 

REXFORD M. HIBBARD II

Rexford M. Hibbard II, 65, stationary engineer, passed away December 20, 2021. He was a member of New Hope Christian Church, the VFW and served 23 years in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his father, Rexford M. Hibbard and is survived by his wife, Penny Ann Crossett Hibbard; sons, Wayne Ryan Hibbard of Millington, and Scott Patrick Hibbard (Laura) of Bartlett; mother, Jane Lorraine Reynolds Hibbard of Athens, Pa.; sisters, Cheryl Hibbard Allen of Lake Alfred, Fla., Sue Hibbard Lynch of Winter Haven, Fla., Karen Hibbard Allen of Athens, Pa., Mary Hibbard Wallner of Anderson, S.C. and LuAnn Hibbard Raupers of Athens, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family received friends Dec. 29  until the memorial service at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel. Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel had charge. 

STEPHEN SCOTT ‘SCOTTY’ HILL 

Stephen Scott “Scotty” Hill, 46 of Millington, passed away December 24, 2021. The family received friends until the service Dec. 30 at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel. Interment in West Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Memphis Union Mission or the charity of your choice.

DIANE LOUISE MAULDIN

Diane Louise Mauldin, 74, passed away December 20, 2021. Chapel service was held Dec. 30 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home in Millington and burial was held later at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. 

RODNEY M. McDANIEL 

Rodney M. McDaniel, 71 of Atoka, passed away December 28, 2021. Rod was a retired aircraft mechanic for The United States Air Force and FedEx, a member of Central Baptist Church and a strong Christian. He was an avid Ole Miss fan and loved his 4 children and 12 grandchildren greatly. He helped raise his grandson, Zachary and over the years they became a dynamic duo and were the best of friends. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. Most of all, he loved his wife Carol of 25 years. “He who loves his wife, loves himself” – Ephesians 5:28. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Carol Coopwood McDaniel; children, Amy (Billy) Lamb, Joanna (Mike) Nagy, Greg (Melissa) Williams and Cara (Brandon) Lowery; grandchildren, Zachary Mills, Jack Nagy, Joey Nagy, Alexa Nagy Kelly, Sean Lamb, Katherine Lamb, Jacob Williams, Matthew Williams, Tristan Lowery, Colton Lowery, Skylar Lowery and Brylie Lowery; siblings, Linda (Danny) Hughes, Sarah (Paul) Terrell and Millie Williams: nieces/nephews, Christopher Hughes, Kimberly Hughes Ward and Paul Terrell, III, Andrew Terrell, MaryEllen Carnell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Marie McDaniel. The family received friends Dec. 30, until the Celebration of Life service at Central Baptist Church in Brighton. Interment in Salem Cemetery, Atoka.

TONNEY D. MOORE

Tonney D. Moore, 58, passed away November 19, 2021. Funeral service was held January 1, 2022 at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church in Covington with interment held at Garden of Everlasting Life in Covington. Millington Funeral Home had charge. 

CURTIS JAMES PARK

Curtis James Park, 75, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021. He was a retired United States Navy Chief and was also retired from FedEx. He was PapPap to his grandchildren, and his grandchildren were his life. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Janet L. Park of Millington; sons, Michael Curt Park of Spring Hill,  and Christopher Michael Park (Lynn) of Atoka; sisters, Linda Burchfield of Pennsylvania, Kathleen Harr of Pennsylvania, Sandra Tomlinson (Randy) of Millington; brothers, Larry Park (Connie) of Pennsylvania and Allen Park (Yvonne) of South Carolina; grandchildren, Gabrielle Park, Emma Park, and Reese Park. The family received friends January 4, 2022, at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel. Funeral services were held January 5, 2022, at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel. Interment with full military honors will be in West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Open Heavens Ministries.

VELTA MARIE SIMMONS

Velta Marie Simmons, 90, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021. She was a United States Army Veteran and a retired Federal Employee with 35 years of service. Mrs. Simmons is survived by her husband of 69 years, Harry Simmons; sons, Richard A. Simmons (Lisa) of Mason,  and Harry A. Simmons, Jr. (Michele) of Millington; brothers, Jack Vincent (Ruth) and Fred Vincent, Jr. (Jewel Anne) both of Arkansas; grandchildren, Chris Barratt (Jessica), Rachel Simmons, Rich Simmons (Danielle), Tripp Simmons (Becky), Kate Pemberton (Charles), Emily Robison (Kenneth) and K. C. Griffin; and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine and Kenneth Griffin, a great granddaughter, Angelene Lee Simmons, and brothers, Clyde Vincent and Dale Vincent. The family received friends on January 3, 2022, at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel. Funeral services were also held Jan. 3 at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel with interment to follow at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
