WILLIAM D. BISHIP
William D. Bishop, 57, an auto detailer of Millington, TN passed away June 20, 2020. The family received friends June 24 until the service at the Millington Chapel. Interment followed in Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery. Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel.

MICHAEL EUGENE EVANS
Michael Eugene Evans, 65, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2020 at his home in Millington. He was born on November 10, 1954 in Bangor, ME to Elmer and Mary Evans. He was a 1972 graduate from Bolton High school in Alexandria, La. He joined the U.S. Navy later that same year and after boot camp his first duty station was Point Mugu, Calif. There he met the love of his life, Linda Jo Bacon and they married on August 9, 1975. He served his country proudly for 21 years in the U.S. Navy and retired as a LCDR. During these years he graduated from Memphis State University with a degree in World Geography and later from the Naval Post Graduate School with a masters of Meteorology and Oceanography. After he retired from the Navy, he went to work for FedEx for several years. He then worked for the U.S. Naval Recruiting Command as a Research Analyst. Family, friends, and others whose lives Mike has touched were invited to the Munford Funeral Home, Millington Chapel on June 25. It was followed by a Celebration of Life Ceremony to honor his many years of love, friendship and memories. HELEN KATHERINE ‘KAY’ FAST
Helen Katherine “Kay” Fast, went to meet her Lord and Savior on June 18, 2020. She passed away peacefully in her sleep. The family received friends June 25 until the service at the First Baptist Church in Millington. Interment was in West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel had charge.

EDWIN NICHOLAS HEMNESS
Edwin Nicholas Hemness, 47 passed away June 21 at Methodist-Hospital Memphis. Eddy, as he was known to family and friends, was passionate Chicago Cubs fan that had his dream come true when he attended the 2016 World Series to see them win, He had an extensive Hot Wheels car collection that began with one of his Christmas gifts when he was a small child. He also rescued a junkyard puppy he named Ace that loved to ride with him in his truck. He is survived by his daughter Brittany (Andrew) Blackwood, his parents Niki and Ed Hemness and fiance Shari Wilburn, all of Millington. Visitation was held June 26 with burial at Elmwood Cemetery the following day. Munford Funeral Home had charge.

SHERALD ANTHONY JUNEAU
Sherald Anthony Juneau, 77, of Millington, passed away on June 21, 2020. Mr. Juneau was a retired Sr. Chief from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service. He also retired after 29 years from Federal Express. He was preceded in death by his brother, Maxel Juneau. Sherald leaves his wife of 55 years, Wanda Juneau; two children, Kimberly Celeste Juneau (Noorullah) and Jeffrey Juneau (Missy); three grandchildren, Kalan, Lane and Davis; four siblings, Jeanette, Dan, Phil and Mark; also one sister- in-law, Ramona. Services are private.

BONNIE EVELYN HARRISON McDONALD
Bonnie Evelyn Harrison McDonald, 79, of Drummonds, passed away June 18, 2020. Services was held at Munford Funeral Home in Munford, on June 27. Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel, had charge.

APRIL LYNN MELTON-STROISCH
Mrs. April Lynn Melton-Stroisch, 51, of Southaven (originally from Millington) passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Baptist DeSoto Hospital. Mrs. Melton-Stroisch is survived by her husband, John Stroisch of Southaven; her father, James Melton (MaryLou) of Wimberley, Texas; her son, Jimmy Lanham of Tupelo, Miss.; her step-children, Anna Forrester and Robert Stroisch, both of Covington; her siblings, Ann Davenport of Munford, Teresa McGlon of Pensacola, Fla., Dennis Jones of Newbern, David Jones of Franklin, Ark., and Jimmy Melton of New Orleans, La.; three step-grandchildren, Amanda Biggs of Memphis, Coreena Harris of Nashville, and Barry Lynn Stroisch of Tennessee; and three step-great-grandchildren, Lilly Ann, Bella Marie, and James Ray. Visitation for Mrs. Melton-Stroisch was held on June 19 at the Maley-Yarbrough Chapel. Funeral followed. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be sent to an Animal Rescue Group or Animal Shelter of your choosing. 

JAMES ‘STAR CHILD’ ADAMS WAKEFIELD
James “Star Child” Adams Wakefield, 56, of Drummonds died June 24, 2020 at his residence.  There was a walk through viewing July 1 at Jefferson Mortuary, Inc., in Millington. Interment followed at St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery, in Drummonds. Jefferson Mortuary, Inc. had charge.
