TEDDY JOE BISHOP
Teddy Joe Bishop, 72, of Drummonds, gained his entrance into heaven on February 24, 2021. The family received friends Feb. 27 with services held the following day, Feb. 28, all at Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel, in Munford.

JORDAN ALLEN CHAPUIS
Jordan Allen Chapuis, 21, passed away March 1, 2021. The family received friends March 6 at the Millington Chapel until the memorial service.

KENNETH HARVEY DIXON
AVCM Kenneth Harvey Dixon, USN (Ret.), 81, passed away Friday February 26, 2021 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. He was born July 19, 1939 in England, Ark., to the late Henry Harvey Dixon and Dora Annes Dixon. He graduated from Crossett High School in 1957. He was employed by the Georgia Pacific Paper Mill in Crossett, Ark., from 1957 until he enlisted in the Navy on October 11, 1961. He traveled the world and served his country with distinction, retiring on October 31, 1991 with the rank of Master Chief. He later went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University on May 14, 1994 and was employed by the Tennessee Department of Transportation. He was a man of many talents, a very avid softball player, bowler, golfer and Memphis Redbirds baseball fan. He and his wife enjoyed dancing, competing as country and western dancers, founding the Dixie Dancers in Millington, TN, and as members of the Dungarees and Petticoats, Pistols and Petticoats, and Top Spinners square dance clubs. He was a devout man of God. For many years he was a member and served as an usher for the Naval Support Activity Mid-South Protestant Chapel in Millington. He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings: Faye Dixon, Jewel Dean Crouch, Barbara Smith, and Bobby Dixon. He is survived by his wife Jeannette Dixon, daughter Donna Carter, son Chris Dixon, five grandchildren: Tabetha Gregory, Lee Carter, Adam Dixon, Angela Dixon, Carissa Dixon, and five great-grandchildren: Katheryn Godfrey, Rowan Carter, Richard Godfrey, Knox Price, Charli Carter. He is also survived by his siblings, Laverne Massey, Mildred Bays, Loy Dixon, Betty Kinnison, Mary Thomas, Pam Hipp, Jimmy Dixon, and Billy Dixon. Funeral services were held graveside at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home in Millington, on March 10, 2021.

JOSEPH ‘JOEY’ BENJAMIN GUY
Joseph “Joey” Benjamin Guy, 48, passed away February 27, 2021. The received friends March 4 until the service at noon at Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel.

BIRDIE MAE JONES
Birdie Mae Jones, 90, of Drummonds, passed away February 19, 2021 at Baptist Hospital  Covington. There was a walk-through viewing for Mrs. Jones on March 5 at Jefferson Mortuary, Inc., in Millington.  A walk-through viewing also took place on March 6 with a memorial service at St. Paul M.B. Church, in Drummonds. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Jefferson Mortuary, Inc. had charge.

LARRY E. KROSP
Larry E. Krosp, 75, of Millington passed away February 17, 2021. Visitation was held March 5 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home in Millington with a graveside service at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery in Millington.

HURSTON CORTEZ MALONE
Hurston Cortez Malone, 67, of Millington, passed away on February 22, 2021 at his residence.There was a walk-through viewing for Mr. Malone March 2 with a memorial service at Jefferson Mortuary, Inc., in Millington. Interment will take place at a later date at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Road, Memphis, Tennessee. Jefferson Mortuary, Inc. had charge.

COBBIE HAROLD McMURRY
Reverend Cobbie Harold McMurry, 83, of Drummonds, passed away peacefully at his home February 25, 2021. All services will be private. Munford Funeral Home had charge.

MARTHA LOUISE SMITH
Martha Louise Smith, 86, of Millington, passed away February 16, 2021 at her residence. There was a walk-through viewing on Feb. 27 with a memorial service for immediate family only at Bethlehem Baptist Church, in Millington. Interment followed at the church Cemetery. Jefferson Mortuary, Inc. had charge.

SANDRA LUCILLE WILBOURN
Sandra Lucille Wilbourn, 67, of Millington, passed away February 21, 2021 at Methodist Hospital North in Memphis. There was a walk-through viewing for Mrs. Wilbourn Feb. 27 with a private memorial service at Jefferson Mortuary, Inc., in Millington. Jefferson Mortuary, Inc. had charge.
