JAMES ‘DALTON’ BONE
James “Dalton” Bone, 95, passed away on February 5, 2026. Born on March 2, 1930, Dalton lived a long and meaningful life marked by devotion to his faith, his family, and his community. Dalton dedicated 37 years of service to W.R. Grace, where he was known for his strong work ethic and steady character. A faithful member of Crosspointe Baptist Church, he found great joy in worship and fellowship. He had a deep love for the simple pleasures in life — traveling in the motor home and camping, fishing, playing cards, listening to Western books, and sharing stories with family. He was also an avid fan of the University of Memphis basketball and rarely missed a chance to cheer on his team. More than anything, Dalton treasured time spent with those he loved. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Shook; his son, James Dalton Bone, Jr.; his parents, Lois A. Bone and Eva Monema Bone; and his brothers, Adron Bone and Ralph Bone. Dalton is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret Ann Bone, with whom he shared 75 wonderful years of marriage; his daughters, Belinda (John) Jamison, Jenny (David) Carey, and Marie (James) Allen; his sons, Jimmy O’Neal and Jerry (Donna) Word; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren, all of whom will continue to carry forward his legacy of love, strength, and faith. Visitation were held on Feb. 10, at Munford Funeral Home – Millington Chapel, with the funeral service. The graveside service took place at Eastview Cemetery in Union City, on Feb. 13. Dalton will be remembered for his steady presence, his warm storytelling, and the love he gave so freely to his family and friends.
PAMELA JEAN KELLEY
Pamela Jean Kelley, known to most as Pam, passed away on February 20, 2026, at the age of 70. Visitation was held on Feb. 28, at Munford Funeral Home, in Munford, with the funeral service. There was not be a graveside service. Pam’s love, laughter & fun nature will be deeply missed. She will be forever remembered by all who knew & loved her.
