VERNON C. BUTTERFIELD
Vernon C. Butterfield, 68, of Brighton, passed away on May 2, 2020. A gathering of close friends and relatives was held May 12 at Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel. The family requests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

GEORGIA CLINE
Georgia Cline, 83, was a woman of God and loved by so many passed away May 1, 2020. Graveside service was held May 9 at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery in Millington. In lieu of plants and flowers, charitable donations can be made to the following in Georgia’s name: First Baptist Church Millington or ALZ.org

MAURICE HALL
Maurice Hall, Sr., 84, of Millington, passed away May 4, 2020 at his residence. There was a walk through viewing on May 10 at Jefferson Mortuary, Inc., 7788 Church Street, in Millington. Interment followed at Pleasant Rest Memorial Gardens Cemetery of Millington. Jefferson Mortuary, Inc. had charge.

WILLIAM JAMES LAXTON
William James Laxton, 63, of Drummonds, passed away on May 2, 2020 at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis. Visitation for close friends and family was held at Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel May 8 with a service held May 9. Interment was in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Drummonds. The family requests memorials be sent to a charity of the donor’s choice. Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel had charge.

MATTHEW CHRISTOPHER McCAIN
Matthew Christopher McCain, 17, passed away on May 7, 2020 at Lebonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis. A visitation for close family and friends was held at Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel on May 11 until the service. Interment followed in Helen Crigger Cemetery. Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel had charge.

HOWARD L. QUISENBERRY
Howard L. Quisenberry, 88, of Millington, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 1, 2020. A memorial service will be at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church at a later date. Northridge Woodhaven had charge.

TERRY LEON RYAN
Coach Terry Leon Ryan, 76, served as a teacher, mentor and coach at Frayser High School from 1967 to his retirement in 2006. He was the epitome of tough love and a role model for many. He cherished his family, friends, and his players and was cherished in return. Numerous former students and players credit him with their success and the tenacity to overcome difficult circumstances in the classroom, on the field and sometimes even at home. Coach Ryan was a member of the Bartlett Woods Church of Christ and is survived by his wife, Patsy Ryan of Atoka; daughter, Teresa Ryan Rovery (Leonard) of Bartlett; son, Michael Ryan (Jenifer) of Atoka; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Bartlett Woods Church of Christ, or the charity of your choice. Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel, had charge. Due to COVID -19 restrictions, there will be a private service. A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date, so that all who wish may pay their respects.

Mrs. Rachael Mae Williams, 75, of Drummonds, passed away May 3, 2020. Interment took place on May 13 at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, in Memphis. Jefferson Mortuary, Inc. had charge. CYNTHIA NYLIN WOTTAWA
Cynthia Nylin Wottawa, 64, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2020 at her home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel had charge.
