Timothy A. Moncier 41, of Millington was born on February 2, 1980 and passed away on October, 27, 2021. He served with Brighton P.D., Millington P.D. as a detective, the D.E.A. and the Shelby County Sheriff’s Dept and a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. Giles T. Starnes, 89, retired electrician passed away November 6, 2021, at his home in Munford. Mr. Starnes was an Army veteran and enjoyed playing golf. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Shirley Starnes, and his parents, sisters, and brothers. Mr. Starnes is survived by his sons, Giles (Lisa) Starnes, Alan (Dana) Starnes, and Michael (Marce) Starnes all of Munford; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. The family received friends Nov. 9 until the service all at the Munford Chapel. Interment followed in Helen Crigger Cemetery in Munford. Myrtice Stringfellow, 89, passed away October 31, 2021. She loved her family, was retired from the Navy Exchange and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir.
