Gloria D. Ben, 82, of Nashville passed away September 17, 2020. She is survived by a host of family and friends. Viewing was held Sept. 24 at Smith Chapel, Visitation was Friday, Sept. 25, service to follow, Friendship BC, 2800 Buena Vista, Pastor Frank Stevenson, Interment Greenwood North. Smith Funeral Directors had charge.

Jackie Rose Bidwell, 65, passed away in her home on September 13, 2020, with her daughters and granddaughter by her side. Jackie would appreciate any memorials be sent to the Friends of the Tipton County Animal Shelter fund at the Munford Animal Hospital. Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel had charge.

ALICE JEAN CLIFTON
Alice Jean Clifton, 93, of Millington passed away peacefully at her home September 23, 2020. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Millington. Predeceased by her husband Tom Clifton, former owner of the Malt Bar. She leaves behind a daughter Carol Jean Pierce and a son Tommy Clifton, 7 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. The family welcomes donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers.

Brenda E. Frank, 62, of Munford, went to be with the Lord September 16, 2020 at 7:45 am peacefully at home, after a long struggle with a very rare terminal illness. Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel had charge.

James “Cookie” Grandberry, 55, of Millington passed away September 18, 2020. Graveside service was held Sept. 26 at St. John Cemetery in Atoka. Millington Funeral Home, Inc., had charge.

Annie Dora Hickerson, 88, of Millington, passed away September 16, 2020 at Millington Healthcare Center. There was a walk through viewing for Mrs. Hickerson on Sept. 22 at Gildfield M.B. Church, in Arlington followed by a graveside service at the church cemetery. Jefferson Mortuary, Inc. had charge.

BETTY SUE GROSS LENAGAR
Betty Sue Gross Lenagar, 88, of Munford, passed away peacefully September 19, 2020. A graveside service was held Sept. 22 at Helen Crigger Cemetery. Additionally, the family received friends at a memorial service Sept. 26 at Munford First United Methodist Church until the service. Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel had charge.

ROLAND WAYNE RODGERS SR.
Ronald Wayne Rodgers, Sr., 62, of Millington, passed away September 16, 2020. Ronald retired from the Air Force after serving 15 years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Rose Griest who was formerly from New York and brother, Ricky Rogers. He is survived by his sons, Ronald Wayne Rodgers of Millington, and Nicholas Griest of Cinnatus, New York.; parents Ginger Rogers and Ersell Smith of Memphis; sisters, Myra Rogers, Jennifer Rogers and Laurisa Warren all of Memphis; brothers, Donzell Rogers of Memphis, Daryl Warren of Arlington, and Ersell Warren of Las Vegas; and one grandchild. Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel had charge.

LUKE ARLEN SMITH
Luke Arlen Smith passed away at home on September 23, 2020. He was a retired Navy Veteran, Community College teacher, and local business owner. During his naval career, Mr. Smith served with the Hurricane Hunters, taught technical school, and attended Escape, Evasion and Survival School. Upon receiving top secret clearance he flew classified missions until he was severely injured in Bermuda where he was hospitalized for a year. Following his recovery, he taught special orientation classes until he retired. He then moved to Covington, purchased land and built a home, where he and his wife, Linda, raised registered Appaloosa horses for 4 years. Mr. Smith leaves his wife of 60 years, Linda Sue Smith; sons, Troy Arlen (Karen) Smith, Michael Allen (Veronica) Smith; sister, Judy Tingley; grandsons, Jared (Haylee) Smith, Cody (Karagan) Smith; great-granddaughters, Eden Smith, A.J. Smith, and Averee Benham. He was predeceased by his son, Bryan Dale Smith, and a sister, Carol Killmen. The family received friends at Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel on Sept. 29 from until the memorial service. Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel had charge.

Jacqueline Ann Weber, of Brighton, passed away on September 15, 2020. The family received friends at Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel until the service on Sept. 24. The family requests memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society. Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel had charge.
