Eddie Lee Crawford, 74, of Memphis, passed away September 29, 2021 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.There was a walk-through viewing for Mr. Crawford on Oct. 8 with a memorial service at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Memphis. Interment took place on Oct. 11 at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Memphis. Jefferson Mortuary, Inc. had charge.

Thomas Edward Kaeckmeister – USN ret., 64, of Munford, passed away October 2, 2021. Thomas retired from the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Electricians Mate Petty Officer First Class and received numerous commendations including the Southwest Asia Service Medal with Bronze Star and served on the Nimitz, Enterprise and Coral Sea. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine L. Kaeckmeister; daughter, Shannon Kaeckmeister; step-daughter, Tammy Lynn Churchill Shelley; mother, Patricia Kaeckmeister; brother, Bruce William Kaeckmeister. He is survived by his daughter, Magen Kaeckmeister; step-daughter, Lisa E. Churchill; sons, Justin Kaeckmeister and Kurt Kaeckmeister; step-son, Michael S. Churchill; father, Norman Kaeckmeister; sisters, Joyce Ann Wachner and Cindy Lou Moore; brother, Chris Norman Kaeckmeister; grandchild, Desiree and step-grandchildren, Devon, Danny, Brittany, Haley, Nikki, and Little Lisa. A graveside service was held Oct. 7 at Poplar Grove Cemetery in Drummonds. In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (StJude.org). Jay L. Schneider, 77, of Collierville, formerly of Greeley, Colo., passed away September 29, 2021. Mr. Schneider served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years and the Civil Service in Millington until he retired. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially watching his grandsons play baseball and cheering for his Denver Broncos. He is survived by his wife, Toni Schneider; daughters, Deni (David) Pann of Millington, and Jennie (Todd) Reese of College Grove; grandsons, Jonathan Reese, Dalton Reese, Eli Reese and Cooper Pann.
