Connie Jo Hall, 81, of Millington, passed away October 10, 2021, Baptist Hospital-Tipton. The family had a graveside service Oct. 15 in Quito Memorial Cemetery. The family will also have a memorial service Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church with a meal to follow. The family asks memorials be made to Fellowship Baptist Church. JUANITA CURTIS JOYNER
Juanita Curtis Joyner, 99, of Munford, passed away peacefully at her home on October 13, 2021. She would have been 100 on November 1. Juanita had no children of her own. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, Kay Standridge Catterton, Pam Standridge Stevens, Sharon Fay Pinner Wilson, Millie Curtis Goforth, Peggy Fletcher Ray, Sandra Fletcher Heil, Marion Fletcher Mansfield, Dr. Shannon Curtis, and Ken Joyner. Ken, his wife Sandy, and son Christopher took good care of Juanita over the past few years when her health declined. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo A. Joyner; her parents, John J. and Minnie L. Curtis; sisters, Lucille Standridge, Kathleen Pinner, Marie Fletcher, and Mary Curtis; brothers, Jesse Curtis, Douglas Curtis, Burt Curtis, and Eugene Curtis. Juanita was a homemaker who was known for her chocolate pies. She was the oldest living member of the Randolph United Methodist Church. She has kept herself young by being a dancer. She has square danced, ballroom danced, and line danced for many years. She started the line dance classes about 15 years ago at the Tipton County Commission on Aging. She loved entertaining at nursing homes, assisted living facilities and anywhere she could take her line dancers. Visitation for family and friends was held Oct. 16 at Munford Funeral Home, Munford Chapel. A graveside service followed at Helen Crigger Cemetery in Munford. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to Randolph United Methodist Church in Drummonds. Munford Funeral Home Munford Chapel had charge.

Carran Grace Smith Mitchell, 76, of Millington passed in her home on October 6, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. The visitation was held Oct. 11 until the service time at East Side Baptist Church in Memphis. Private graveside service was held Oct. 14 at Northridge Woodhaven. Thomas Edward Millette, 79, of Millington, stepped into the presence of Jesus on October 9, 2021. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, A Christian man, and a former Vietnam Era Navy veteran. A former employee of Corporate Air, Inc. and retired from Chickasaw Air Conditioning, Inc. He leaves his wife, Jackie of Millington. His brother Jeff (Sharon) of West Glover, Vermont. His son, Dale Millette (Nina Brooks) of Munford. His daughter, Carla Bayard (David) of Grenada, MS. His daughter, Jessica Fletcher of Cordova. He leaves seven grandchildren: Amber Greenhaw (Doug), Christina Kinney, Brittany Dover (Drew), Randall Kinney, Allysa Fletcher, Daniel Fletcher and Trenton Fletcher. He also leaves six great grandchildren: Lahna, Emily, Doug JR., Regan, Linden and Azrael. He leaves many friends and neighbors and a loving church family and a truly, true friend Steve Rowland. A memorial service will be held at Big Creek Baptist Church, located at 6797 Big Creek Church Road, Millington, on Saturday October 23, 2021. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Memorial Service beginning at 11 a.m. After the service there will be a potluck dinner on the grounds.
