MAUREEN ‘MOE’ RYAN CAMPBELL
Maureen “Moe” Ryan Campbell, 76, of Millington, went to be with the Lord on October 21, 2020. Munford Funeral Home had charge.

CONNIE ‘NONNIE’ FREUDENBERG
Connie “Nonnie” Freudenberg, a nurse, passed away October 16, 2020. A memorial service is being planned. Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel had charge.

ESTHER LEE GOODMAN
Esther Lee Goodman, 88, of Millington, passed away October 14, 2020 at Grace Health Care Center of Cordova. There was a walk through viewing on Oct. 21 at Jefferson Mortuary, Inc., in Millington.  A graveside service took place Oct. 22 at Galilee Church Cemetery on Deadfall Road in Brighton. Jefferson Mortuary, Inc. had charge.

ALBERT POORTVLIET
Albert Poortvliet, USN ret., 86, of Millington, passed away October 19, 2020. He was an avid fisherman and square dancer, woodworking enthusiast, and liked to fight and bite. The widower of Margaret “Peggy” Poortvliet, he is survived by his wife of seven years, Merrie Jo Poortvliet; daughters, Linda Lantry of Jacksonville, Fla., Arline Jaco of Millington, TN, Katherine Robinson of Rossville, Karen Sizemore of Millington, Donna Marsh of Germantown, and Tyla Kozub of Philadelphia, Pa.; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson. The family received friends Oct. 22 until the service at the Millington Chapel. Interment followed in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. Any memorials may be made to the Amedisys Foundation, (a hospice organization) 3854 American Way (Suite A), Baton Rouge, La., 70816. Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel had charge.

JEFFERY MAURICE SOMERVILLE
Jeffery Maurice Somerville, 60, of Covington passed away October 18, 2020. Visitation was held Oct. 30 from 5-7 p.m. at Millington Funeral Home Inc., at 7738 Church Street in Millington. Graveside service will be held Oct. 31 at noon at Cotton Cemetery on Dyson Lane in Covington. Millington Funeral had charge.

THURMAN JAMES ‘TJ’ TALLEY SR.
Thurman James “TJ” Talley, Sr., of Munford, 94, passed away at his residence on October 21, 2020. He retired from the US Navy and served in World War II, Korea and the Vietnam War. Mr. Talley was also a retired carrier for the United States Postal Service. He was member of 1st. Baptist Church in Atoka, Past Worshipful Master of the Munford Lodge, Past Worthy Patron of the Eastern Star, member of Fleet Reserve Association, American Legion Post 67, a member of the D.A.V., Scottish Rite, and a Shriner. “T.J.” leaves his son, Thurman J. (Cindy) Talley, Jr., four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Palmolee Talley, his parents, John C. and Virginia Talley, a sister, Ima Partain, and his brothers, C.C. Talley and Miles Talley. The family received friends on Oct. 27 with a Masonic service and Eastern Star Service at Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel. A graveside service was held at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery in Millington. Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel had charge.
