MAXINE ALLEN
Maxine Allen, 72, of Atoka, passed away September 21, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital Bartlett. There was a walk through viewing for Mrs. Allen on Oct. 3 with a memorial service all at Jefferson Mortuary, Inc., in Millington. Interment followed at St. John Community Cemetery on Atoka Idaville Road, in Atoka. Jefferson Mortuary, Inc. had charge.

DOUGLAS MARK BUTTS
Douglas Mark Butts, 63, of Atoka, passed away on September 30, 2020. He was 63 years of age and worked as a civilian for the M.W.R. Branch for the U.S. Navy. He leaves his wife, Donna Butts; a son, Daniel (Whitney) Butts, and a brother, William Butts. The family gathered with friends on Oct. 4 at Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel. In lieu of flowers, send memorials to Trout Unlimited. Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel had charge.

ALICE ARLETTE CONLON
Alice Arlette Conlon, 88, of Memphis, passed away peacefully September 24, 2020. Graveside service was held Sept. 29 at Helen Crigger Cemetery Munford. The family thanks her Methodist Home Hospice Team. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel had charge.

RHONDA RENE’ DAVIS
Rhonda Rene` Davis, 60, of Covington, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020. Funeral Service was held Sept. 30 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home in Millington with interment at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials are sent to: St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Tipton County Animal Shelter.

ALFRED E. DEAREN JR.
Alfred E. Dearen, Jr. 87, of Rosemark, passed away September 30, 2020. He was a graduate of Bolton High School, a member of the first graduating class from State Tech (now Southwest), a U.S. Air Force veteran and a charter member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Raleigh. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Jean Walker and brothers, Robert Dearen, Gerald Dayton Dearen and Jack Dearen. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Louelen Dearen; daughters, Leigh Anne (Stephen) Sandlin of Rosemark, and Faye Beth (John) Hansen of St. Augustine, Fla.; son, Alfred (Mitzi) Dearen III of Rosemark; sisters, Joan Ison of Memphis, and Joyce Cortese of Penn.; brothers, Harry Dearen of Millington, Joe Dearen of Rosemark, Don Dearen of Cordova; grandchildren, Jason Hansen, Jodi Zitello, Ronald Sandlin, Joshua Sandlin and McKenzie Estes; great-grandchildren, Jai Sandlin and Kingston Hansen. The family received friends Oct. 4 at the Millington Chapel with a service Oct. 5 at Messiah Lutheran Church. Interment followed in West Union Cemetery in Millington. Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel had charge.

HELEN MARGARET DYE
Helen Margaret Dye, 91, of Millington died on September 30, 2020. Visitation was held on Oct. 5 with services at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel in Millington.

George Eric Sigler, Sr., 44, of Munford, passed away September 27, 2020. The family asks any memorials be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital (StJude.org). Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel had charge.
