FRANCES CALDWELL
Frances Caldwell, passed away August 21, 2021. Mrs. Caldwell was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, TSGT B.W. Caldwell, USAF ret.; parents, Egbert Gladden Lovell and Birdie Bell Lovell; brothers, John Nelson, Neff Coney and Rex Lovell; sister, Ruth Brown. She is survived by her sons, Mark (Rita) Caldwell, Steve (Lisa) Caldwell; grandchildren, Shelly Caldwell, Adam Caldwell, Jason Caldwell, Shane Harber, Amy Roberts, Joshua Harber, Wesley Caldwell, Haley Berryman; sixteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. The family received friends Aug. 25 at the Munford Chapel until service. Interment  was held Sept. 2 in West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. Munford Funeral Home Munford Chapel had charge.

NANCY S. ‘NANA’ CANNON
Nancy S. ‘Nana’ Cannon, 88, of Millington, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 21, 2021 and is now walking streets of gold in a new body. She was a devoted wife, mother and Nana. She was retired from Buckman Laboratories were she worked for 37 years as a payroll clerk. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Larry, step-son Doug Cannon, and her parents Claude and Neva Smith of Sallis, Miss. Left to cherish her memory is son Scott, daughter-in-law Stephanie, and the joy of her life two grandsons Seth and Sam. She is also survived by two sisters Sara Robinson and Linda Brown of Jackson, Miss., two nieces, a nephew and many other family and friends. Nancy was a member of First Baptist Church Millington and was very proud when her grandsons accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. She was known as an avid shopper and if it was on sale she needed it. Whenever you ran-out of something the joke was stop by Nana’s grocery, and yes she normally had it and was always willing to share. A true lady of kind demeanor and an infectious smile will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to FBC Millington or to the Alzheimer’s Association. Her family received friends Aug. 27 and the service was held Munford Funeral Home, Millington Chapel. Burial followed immediately after at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel had charge.

TERRY WAYNE CRAWFORD
Terry Wayne Crawford passed away August 19, 2021. A memorial service was held Aug. 28 at Fellowship Baptist Church. Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel had charge.

BRYAN KEITH COLLVER
Bryan Keith Collver, 53, of Drummonds, passed away on Aug. 21, 2021 at home.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the National Transplant Foundation. Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel had charge.

Anita “Dianne” Davis, 67, retired Kroger Deli Manager passed away August 20, 2021. Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel had charge.

Nida “Susie” Dent, 78,of Millington, passed away on August 20, 2021. Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel had charge.

NOAH C. GRAHAM
Noah C. Graham, 23, passed away August 18, 2021. Noah was a student at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo., an assistant baseball coach at Millington Central High School, a Navy Brat, Missouri/Tennessee Licensed Teaching Association, and in the National Honor Society at Lindenwood University. He is survived by his parents, Stephen and Chrys Graham of MIllington; brother, Stephen “Mason” Graham of Memphis; grandparents, Oscar and Faye Graham of Bruceton, Sandra Jones of Savannah, Chris and Lisa Berry of Harrisburg, Ill., and Kathy Hilliard of Bruceton; great-grandparents, Bobbi Drinkard of Bruceton. The family received friends Aug. 27 and Aug. 28 until the service all at the Millington Chapel. Interment followed in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to the NG15 Memorial Scholarship Fund via Venmo (@NG15-scholarship-fund) or at any area Navy Federal Credit Union (Acct. # 8164). JOY EVELYN HENDREN
Joy Evelyn Hendren, 92, of Springdale, Ark., died August 24, 2021, in Springdale, Ark. A graveside service was held Aug. 27 at Big Creek Cemetery in Millington. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale, Ark. Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel had charge.

GLENN JOHNSON
Glenn Johnson, 91, retired manager for Bill South Motors Millington, passed away August 19, 2021. Mr. Johnson was retired from the USMC and served in the Korean and Vietnam wars and was a member of First Baptist Church Millington. The family received friends Aug. 23 with a service on Aug. 24 all at the Millington Chapel. Interment followed in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Walcott, Ark. He was preceded in death by a son, David A. Johnson; parents, Floyd Johnson, Iva Mae and Garland Malloy; grandson, Michael; and a great-grandchild, Piper. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Opal C. Johnson; daughters, Glenda Scott and Donna Warren (Sam); sisters, Katherine Williams and Judy Malloy; brother, Jerry Malloy; grandchildren, Brian, Johnny, Jenny, Joey, Joshua, Jessica, Sarah, and Faith; great-grandchildren, Bella, Aubrey, Braley, Elijah, Aiden, Anastasia and Ryleigh.The family requests any memorials be made to First Baptist Church Millington. SYLVIA KAYE COBBLE McKELVEY
Sylvia Kaye Cobble McKelvey, 61, of Millington, departed this life for heaven when God called August 17, 2021 after battling a chronic illness. Visitation was held Aug. 23 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home with service held Aug. 24 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home. Interment followed at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.

DENZIL ‘DEE’ McPEAK
Denzil “Dee” McPeak, 86, loving husband, father and brother, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 from complications of Parkinson’s disease. Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 11 a.m. for close family and friends in Helen Crigger Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church-Millington.

JOAN FLOYD SIMS
Joan Floyd Sims, 80, passed away peacefully Friday morning, August 20, 2021 at her home in Millington. Joan was born in Paden, Miss., on June 15th, 1941, to James Casey ‘JC’ and Vivian Floyd. Joan and her husband Butch raised four children in many locations moving as part of a Marine Corps family but ended up back in Millington after Butch retired from the military. After retiring from the Millington Telephone Co., Joan and her husband Butch spent their days fishing, bowling, ceramics, gardening, raising chickens, traveling & enjoying their greatest joy and past time, playing with their grandchildren & great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Everett ‘Butch’ Sims of Millington, daughters, Teresa (Ron) Wells of Millington, Barbara Sanders of Plano, Texas, Becky Seivwright of Millington, & son, Charles Edward (Michelle) Massey of Plano. She also is survived by nine grandchildren,16 great grandchildren, father, JC Floyd, brothers, Anthony (Gloria) Floyd, Billy (Phyllis) Floyd and sister Janet Floyd, all of Millington. She was preceded in death by her mother Vivian Mae Hart Floyd, brother, Casey Floyd, son-In-law Ian Seivwright, grandchildren, Ian Charles Seivwright. and Tegan Lynn Miller. Joan was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Millington. The family received friends on Aug. 25 until the service at Munford Funeral Home-Millington Chapel. Interment in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. A reception followed for family and friends at Lucy Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First Baptist Church-Millington or to the Franklin Graham’s Samaritans Purse. Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel had charge.
