NANCY ELAINE URE-HEMINWAY
Nancy Elaine Ure-Heminway, 71,  of Hurst, formerly of Millington, and Key West, Fla,, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 15, 2014 surrounded by her family after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Nancy loved her family and traveling with her military husband. She volunteered for the USO in various states where she met her beloved husband. She also loved to volunteer for various Church’s working on different committees. She is survived by her four children: Her daughter Kimberly Petersen and husband Duane, her son John Curtis Heminway and wife Helen, her daughter Sherry Farmer, her daughter Lori Heminway and six grandchildren, Brittany, Jonathan, Kelsey, Zackary, Zoey and Rose, and three great grandchildren, Skylar, Braylon and London. The family held a celebration of Nancy’s life on Saturday, Dec. 20 at First United Methodist Church, Hurst, Texas followed by a graveside service in Key West at a later date.
