SANDRA QUICK
Sandra Quick, 70, of Millington, went to be with our Lord on Jan. 9, 2016. She was home with her loved ones caring for her at the time of her passing. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She is survived by her husband, Robert Quick; mother, Doris Gaither; daughter, Carrie (Scott) Campbell; son, Carl (Gayle) Quick; brother, Billy Grist; and her five grandchildren that she cared deeply for: Sydnie, Hayden, Kennedy, Heath and Hunter. She had a passion for shelter dogs and loved her dog, Sophie. She worked in the Shelby County School System for 25 years, most of which was spent at Lucy Elementary School as their secretary. She had the pleasure of watching second generations come through the school doors. Sandra will be longingly missed. The family received friends Jan 12 from at Poplar Grove United Methodist Church. Interment followed in Poplar Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to Tipton County Animal Shelter or Poplar Grove United Methodist Church, where she was an active member.
