JEFFREY E. LUSE Jeffrey E. Luse, 53, born Jan. 8, 1960 in Cedar Rapids Iowa died Oct. 17, 2013 at home at 11:25 p.m. of pancreatic cancer. He was a retired U.S. Marine gunny sergeant with 23 years of service. He was the husband of Nancy R. Foster Luse and they were married for 27 years and 9 months. He was the proud son David and Gail Luse of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He leaves three daughters and two sons; Chantay Mepham of Fresno, Calif.; Natasha Luse and Jessica Luse of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Michael Duncanson of Memphis; and Denny Lawson of Clarksville. A proud grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of 4. He also leaves an older brother, Greg Luse, and a younger sister, Barbara Luse both of Cedar Rapids. Recently he worked as a security guard at Ingram Micro in Millington. He was a good man and was loved very much by his family and friends. He will be forever missed. Jeff donated his remains to the Medical Education and Research Institute Genesis Donor Program in hopes that new things can be learned about pancreatic cancer.
