The Millington Christmas Parade will be held on Dec. 3 starting at 1 p.m. along Navy Road. The Parade will line up at noon and then proceed down Navy road from Newport to Leroy Boatwright. To be a participant in the Christmas Parade, register online at www.millington.gov or for more information, call Parks and Recreation at 873-5770. Also, from the City of Millington, the 2022 Christmas Tree Lighting and Pictures with Santa will be held Dec. 1 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Millington Fire Station located at 4836 Navy Road. The tree lighting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Come out for hot chocolate, cookies and goodie bags for the children (while quantities last). For more information, call 873-5770.
