The special season for the 2022 Millington Lady Trojans came to an end at Dyer County last Thursday night in Newbern in three sets. As the Lady Choctaws advanced to the 2022 Class 2A State Volleyball Tournament, the Lady Trojans led by Head Coach Jennifer Gallo had a chance to reflect on all the honors and achievements of the season. The Lady Trojans composed of Meagan Harding, Shelby Pindell, Mariah Townsel, Janie Smith, Kaira Lopez, Anna Speight, Lydia Winans, Aleeah Fiene, Breanna Hulsey, Kyndall Lee and Morgan Burns had a banner season. Millington was runner up in the District 15-2A and Region 8-2A tournaments. Gallo was named District 15-2A Coach of the Year and her players to be honored with All-District honors were Anna Speight, Kaira Lopez, Shelby Pindell, Aleeah Fiene, Janie Smith and Breanna Hulsey.
