Opening Night: Flag City plays host to flagship event for District 15-2 Hoops

The 2019 District 15-2A Basketball Tournament took place in the William Osteen Gymnasium last week and concluded earlier this week. The host Millington Trojans failed to reach the tournament site losing play-in games. The Millington Lady Trojans were defeated by the Haywood Lady Tomcats 63-46. Meanwhile the Trojans were beaten by Haywood 66-28. The four teams to reach Millington for the tournament were Haywood, Bolivar Central, Fayette-Ware and Covington. The guests from across West Tennessee were welcomed in by the administration and faculty of Millington Central High School. Millington Municipal Schools, City of Millington and area businesses all participated in making sure the event ran smoothly and safely.
