The Millington Board of Mayor and Aldermen unanimously passed an ordinance on final reading this week that changes the zoning of a parcel on Bethuel Road. Board members took the action Monday night during their regular monthly meeting on a motion offered by Alderman Don Lowry and seconded by Alderman Thomas McGhee. The ordinance was unanimously passed on first reading at the board’s Nov. 13 meeting. It amends the Millington Zoning Map to change the zoning on 17.08 acres at 8305 Bethuel Road from B-2, General Commercial, to M-P, Planned Industrial.
At its Oct. 16 meeting, the Millington Planning Commission reviewed the proposed zoning change and recommended that the board approve it.
