Friday night in a battle of West 10 Media Power 10 ranked teams, the showdown between No. 9 Munford Cougars and No. 10 Brighton Cardinals went the way of the visiting Cougars. Munford traveled to their Tipton County and Class 5A league rivals winning 44-20 behind power running and timely plays by quarterback Jordan Bell. Munford Head Coach Slade Calhoun celebrated the victory with his players and coaches.
