Star Staff Reports

Playhouse 51, Millington’s Community Theatre, presents a dinner theater production of “A Christmas Carol – A Radio Play” adapted by Anthony E. Palermo from Charles Dickens novella.

Performances will be Thursday December 8 and Friday December 9 at Jackie Mae’s Place, 6646 Highway 51 just south of Millington, next to Plantation Oaks.

Tickets are $30 each and include a delicious Southern Soul Food dinner buffet at 6:30 p.m. followed by an exciting radio-style performance of “A Christmas Carol” at 7:30 p.m. There will be an open cash bar as well as the buffet.

Reservations are required, contact Jackie Mae’s Place at 872-1047 to reserve your spot.

Or you can stop by the restaurant for a terrific meal and reserve your place for the dinner theater at the same time.

This is the first production for Playhouse 51 since before the pandemic so we hope you will join us for this dinner and a show presentation of a favorite holiday classic and celebrate the ‘spirit’ of the season with us.

“Many thanks to Jackie Mae and her staff for partnering with Playhouse 51 for this event and helping us with our comeback,” Jane Lester of Playhouse 51 said. “Don’t be a Scrooge!  Please make your reservations today at 872-1047.”
