Construction Inspector
The Millington Housing Authority is seeking a qualified person to act as Construction Inspector during the Site and Building Exterior Improvements of The Millington Housing Authority.
The Position Available is full-time (approximately 40 hours a week) and will be on a contract basis, without fringe benefits, and will be terminated upon completion of the Site and Building Exterior Improvements, approximately five months more or less.
Applicants must possess training and experience in construction inspection or building maintenance/construction. Duties will include daily observation and inspection of the construction activities, preparation of inspection reports, locking and unlocking of doors, reading and interpretation of drawings and specification, monitoring the construction schedule, employee interviews, maintenance of records, etc. Knowledge of HUD guidelines/reports a plus.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Inspector must furnish own transportation.
