Last week the Millington-Memphis Airport was protecting the Department of Homeland Security from Jacksonville, Fla., and the 165th Airlift Wing from Savannah, Ga., from Hurricane Ian. The fleet of planes were stored in Millington as the Category 4 hurricane slammed into the Tampa region of Florida last week.
