The couple all of sudden spotted a harvest display at 7091 Juana Drive. The corner house of Vicki Maddox was the home of the seasonal structure with her well-manicured yard as the backdrop. “This is unique,” Bubba said. “So my wife and I stopped and she told me to get a picture of it.” Maddox’s harvest display has been the talk of the neighborhood since she and her friend Robert Hayes created the structure over the Oct. 18 weekend. Neighbors and motorist passing through have snapped pictures of the wagon covered in hay brought in by Hayes. He also constructed the wagon holding all the harvest items. The duo added cotton, pumpkins, sunflowers and more with a raggedy Andy and Anne sitting on top of it. Maddox’s and Hayes’ work has been recognized by the Millington City Beautiful Commission several times in the past. “We just love it,” Maddox said. “It’s a part of this time of year. We really enjoy doing it. It makes us feel good.

“And it makes you feel even better when people stop by to take pictures of it,” she concluded.
