Yesterday started the year-long road construction of Ward Road (bridge over Big Creek) between Garnet Road and Old Millington Road. The scheduled dates for closure are April 28 to April 28, 2015.
Ward Road Bridge at Big Creek between Garnet Road and Old Millington Road will be closed to through traffic for bridge replacement.
DETOUR: Beginning at the intersection of Ward Road with Garnet Road thence west on Garnet Road a distance of 0.9 miles to the intersection of Garnet Road with Woodstock-Cuba Road, thence south on Woodstock-Cuba Road a distance of 1.2 miles to the intersection of Woodstock-Cuba Road with Little John Road, thence east and south on Little John Road a distance of 1.8 miles to the intersection of Little John Road with Old Millington Road, thence north and east on Old Millington Road a distance of 1.1 miles to the intersection of Old Millington Road with Ward Road. The detour distance totals 5.0 miles.
