For several years the City of Millington transformed the first Saturday in December into the annual Christmas Parade. This year the event is moving to midweek and primetime. The City of Millington presents Santa’s Workshop Christmas Parade on Thursday Dec. 5, at 6 p.m. To be a participant in the parade, register online @millingtontn.gov and for more information, call Parks & Recreation at 873-5770. The staging for the parade will be located on Jack Huffman Blvd. The parade lineup will start at 5 p.m., the intersection of Newport and Navy Road, the parade will travel along Navy Road from Newport to Church Street, turn left onto Church Street and end at Baker Community Center.
