The Millington Police Department responded to a shooting call on Bateman Road on April 2 at about 10 a.m.
Upon arrival, MPD officers spoke with a male suspect who reported shooting someone inside the residence following an argument.
Officers entered the residence and located a 32 year-old male victim with a gunshot wound inside.
Millington and Shelby County Fire department personnel arrived and pronounced the victim deceased.
Following an investigation, 33 year-old Marcel Hutton was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. Hutton was taken into custody at 201 Poplar.
