Tipton-Rosemark Academy’s Show Choir performed this past weekend at the Music in the Parks National Choir Competition in Branson, Mo. Against the largest number of schools the choir has ever competed against, TRA won first place in the Show Choir (Superior Rating), Women’s Jazz Ensemble (Superior Rating) and Women’s Choir (Excellent Rating) categories. The Show Choir finished second in Mixed Choir (Superior Rating. In the overall competition, out of 22 groups, TRA finished second. Senior Heidi Miller was name Best Vocal Soloist in the entire competition. Pictured are Director Lalania Vaughn, Assistant Director Todd Goode and the Show Choir.
