Several days of ideal weather have accompanied the 2015 harvest display at 7091 Juana Drive. The corner house of Vicki Maddox has become an annual attraction for the autumn season over recent years. Maddox, along with Robert Hayes, creates the structure when fall arrivals to the delight of neighbors, motorists and those walking through the neighborhood. The duo added cotton, pumpkins, sunflowers and more with a raggedy Andy and Anne sitting on top of it. Maddox’s and Hayes’ work has been recognized by the Millington City Beautiful Commission several times in the past.
Speaking of the City of Millington, the annual Fall Festival/Halloween Carnival will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Oct. 31 at the Millington Farmer’s Market. The Market is located at 5152 Easley Street. For more information, call 873-5770.
