The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Shelby and Tipton counties last Thursday. Forecasters called for the possibility of freezing rain overnight and early in the morning Friday Sunday. Experts called for about 2 to 4 inches in the Shelby and Tipton counties. Most were disappointed after clearing out grocery stores, buying up supplies and planning for a day of fun in the snow. But some people were able to get the most out of the light snow like the Kinney family with Jordan, Cora and Lauren in Brighton.
