SPORTS ALERT: Clifton winner of first MCHS Baseball scholarship

Millington Central High School is please to announce the first recipient of Coach Ronnie Osborne scholarship.
Tommy Clifton
Coach Ronnie Osborne was the baseball coach at Millington Central high school from 1971–1977. Permanently live his mark of MCHS with his 1977 championship team and playing in the state tournament semifinals. He went on to coach in the SEC and winning several Southeast conference championships and making appearances in the College World Series. Though out his career he coached All American and professional baseball players. Coach Osborne comes back to where he got his start and wants to honor one of our student baseball players and establishes a scholarship.

Tommy Clifton is an outstanding student/baseball player to be selected as the first recipient of the Baseball Scholarship. My wife and I are very excited to start our six-year committed to MCHS Baseball.
Clifton is a 4-year starter in baseball and football. He has maintained a 3.82 GPA. Clifton will be attending Harding University in the fall.
