District 15-2A Tournament action coming to Millington this week. Both the softball and baseball tournaments will be held in Flag City starting Thursday with Covington, Bolivar Central, Ripley, Haywood, Fayette-Ware and host Millington Trojans.
The District 15-2A Baseball Tournament will be held at the historic USA Stadium with (4) Millington vs. (5) Bolivar Central at 4 p.m. The second game that day will be (3) Ripley vs. Fayette-Ware. Covington and Haywood have earned the top two seeds respectively. The championship game is scheduled for Wednesday, May 9, at 6:30 p.m.
Across the way at Miles Park, the Millington Lady Trojans will host the District 15-2A Softball Tournament. The Lady Trojans will open up the tournament at 6 p.m. Thursday against the Haywood Lady Tomcats. Friday will feature two games with Ripley, Bolivar and Covington in action.
The softball tournament will continue into next week as well.
