Concluding tomorrow night, the Millington Central High School Softball and Baseball programs are continuing to be a part of the “Be the Light” campaign. The fields will be lit again at 8:20 p.m. or in military time 20:20 for 20 minutes to recognize and honor all of the Class of 2020 players, their teammates, coaches and community supporters.
“We are thinking of everyone and we haven’t forgotten about anyone. We are asking that families and Trojan fans drive by our fields at Miles Park, honk their horns, scream out their windows for our Trojans.”
Organizers encourage supporters to make posters and wear your Trojan gear. Take pictures and tag Millington Central High School or Millington Municipal Schools on Facebook.
“Remember to stay in your cars, stay on the street and don’t stop. The parking lot will be closed so remember do not stop.”
This is a time for you and your family to drive by the field for a quick honk, scream as you drive by.
“We love you. We miss you. We are thinking of you. Don’t pick your friends up. Stay safe, Trojans.”
