This week’s Spot the Star winner is John Rutter III of Millington. He is presented a Walmart gift card by The Millington Star’s Brittaney Spahr. Rutter has called every week of the contest spotting The Star every week.
“It feels great to win,” he said. “I’m surprised.”
Rutter retired from the Navy after 34 years of service. He was last stationed in Millington in Feb. 1985. Shortly after that he subscribed to The Millington Star and has kept the paper ever since.
