Millington Municipal Schools is saluting the system’s Professional School Counselor during the week of February 7-11
Tarique Martin works at Millington Intermediate School located at 4964 Cuba Millington Road.
This is a special week honoring school counselors. This week provides recognition for school counselors who are “implementing comprehensive school counseling programs, which are a vital part of the educational process for all students as they meet the challenges of the 21st century,” said Martin.
Martin builds relationships and engages in helping students by examining their abilities, strengths, and talents. She is not helping the students but also building relationships with the families of MIS. Millington Intermediate school would like to say thank you for all you do.
National School Counseling Week 2022 (#NSCW22) is Feb. 7-11, 2022, to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems.
National School Counseling Week, sponsored by ASCA, highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career. National School Counseling Week is always celebrated the first full week in February.
