St. Paul’s Black History Program set for Sunday

The 11th annual Black History Program Living the Dream will be held this Sunday at St. Paul Chapel M.B. Church located at 8991 Richardson Landing Road in Drummonds with Pastor Dr. W.E. Gatlin. This year’s event is once again sponsored by Mama Tena Mebane Alexander with the theme Walking in Favor (Psalm 150: 1-6). The special guest will be St. Paul Youth and Young Adult Choir, Men of Vision, Minister Lawrence Andrews, The Bell Singers and The Appointed. The honorees will be Nona Blake, Missionary Gloria Fields, Evangelist Rosemary Jones, Pastor Marie Bonds, Pastor Carolyn Brown, Pastor LC McBride, James Powers, Robert Fields, Pastor John Payne, Pastor Mitchell, Matthews, Pastor David Holly and Pastor Lee Brown.

The guest speaker will be Pastor Johnathan Roberson of Temple of Praise in Memphis. The mistress of ceremony will be Patsy “Love Love” Johnson of St. Luke Baptist Church in Covington. The colors will be Navy blue and lime green. For more information, call Mama Tena at 835-3267.
