Ross’ statements of gratitude were part of the 2020 Veterans’ Ceremony presented by the City of Millington. The staff of the city along with Mayor Terry Jones and Aldermen Bethany Huffman, John Crisp, Don Lowry, Thomas McGhee, Larry Dagen, Al Bell and Mike Caruthers were all present for the ceremony. The Millington Central High School NJROTC presented the colors for the National Anthem song by Amy Downs.

Jones, a Navy veteran and former NJROTC instructor, spoke on the importance of the NSA Mid-South relationship with the city. He also paid tribute to the work being done by the MCHS NJROTC today.

Ross echoed those sentiments and spoke on the appreciation of those in uniform on receiving thanks from the city and citizens on Veteran’s Day.
