The Millington Lady Trojans opened the 2026 with a statement. The Class 3A Lady Trojans traveled to the Class 4A Arlington Lady Tigers for Opening Day and left Lady Tigers Field with an 11-3 win. Millington players like Hayley Stevens and Riley Washburn had a field day. Stevens drove in four runs and Washburn scored three times. A month later, on April 6, the Lady Tigers returned the favor to Millington with a 9-3 win on the turf of Lady Trojan Field. The Lady Tigers broke a scoreless tie in the top of the third inning with 5 runs. Arlington added a four-spot in the sixth inning to ice the game. Brooklyn Juarez had a productive night with two hits and scored twice. Hadley Edwards had a big hit with a three-run double. Emma Chamberlain drove in a couple of runs in the Arlington victory.
