TOTAL Justice

The 2014 TOTAL Youth Leadership group spent March 19 with Sheriff Chumley and staff as part of their criminal justice day. They learned about the duties of Sheriff and general law enforcement operations. Students heard from Sheriff Pancho Chumley, 25th Judicial District Attorney General Mike Dunavant, Judge William A. Peeler, and Circuit Court Clerk Mike Forbess. Additionally, they received a tour of the jail, witnessed a canine demonstration, SWAT team demonstration, and enjoyed some time on the firing range for some gun safety tips and a weapons demonstration.
