From supporters holding signs, to displays on cars, to advertisements hanging from the sky, Day One of Early Voting in Shelby County was a festival at the Baker Community Center located at 7942 Church Street. Several candidates on the City of Millington ballot were on hand including mayoral candidates Larry Dagen and Cary Vaughn walking the sidewalks to get voters to roll into the location Oct. 16. Early Voting continues at Baker Community Center for all registered voters in Shelby County from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the weekdays concluding on Oct. 31. Then the next chance to cast your ballot will be on Election Day Nov. 5 at your polling site.
