The Millington Chipotle is taking form right next door to the KFC restaurant. Earlier this year, the Millington Board of Mayor and Aldermen unanimously adopted a resolution approving a Non-Residential Development Agreement for construction of a Chipotle restaurant. Board members took the action during their Feb. 13 regular monthly meeting. The resolution states that West End Development & Investments LLC owns a 1.01-acre tract zoned B-2, General Commercial, at 8599 Highway 51 North, directly south of the KFC restaurant. The company is constructing the Chipotle restaurant on Lot 2 of the CBTN Millington Subdivision that will use the stormwater detention already provided along with the KFC lot. City Planner Nathaniel McHaffie has said the building will be constructed with two shades of gray stucco and aluminum gray trim.
