Construction continues at the corner of West Union and Wilkinsville. The structure started to take form and appear over the fencing earlier this month for the Millington Community Based Outpatient Clinic. The site of the former E.A. Harrold Elementary will be the new home of a VA medical facility. The area has about 3,500 veterans actively using the VA system with most going to Austin Peay or the main facility (Downtown Memphis). There’s about 12,000 veterans in the area. There’s another 7,500 that occasionally touch the system.
