The former Millington Middle School is still undergoing changes into the Millington Intermediate School with the addition of a playground. Construction on the area started in May and is nearing completion for students at the institution. The Millington School Board unanimously approved the planned relocation and renovation of playground equipment from the former E. A. Harrold Elementary School property. Board members took the action during their April 3 regular monthly meeting on a motion offered by Cody Childress and seconded by Marlon Evans. They voted to contract with A & B Construction Co. Inc. to complete the project for $221,487.
